My First Born is 26!!!!!!!

Cas, my sweet first girl!!! She was born with snow on the ground and a chill in the air but there was warm in my heart. She may not like her birthday in December but it was a perfect time to have a baby, a great Christmas present. There is a song that I always played when she was born that goes like this

The best gift

That I ever got

Didn't really weigh a lot

It didn't have a ribbon 'round

And it sometimes made the terrible sound

The best gift that I've ever known

I'd always wanted most to own

Yet in my dreams of sugar and spice

I never thought it could be so nice

Was sometimes dry and sometimes wet

Was usually pink but oftentimes red

As it lay so innocently in it's bed

The best gift of the year to me

The one I hold most dear to me

A gift that simply drove me wild

Was a tiny new born child...

I loved listening to that while I held my new baby girl, Cassie!

Now Cas is 26 (happy birthday Cas!!)

I love her so much! She is such a fun daughter to have and we have so much in common... duh, she is my daughter!

She is so creative, in her style, how she dresses, how she decorates her house and dresses her kids.

She is super fun to be with, to play games with, to shop with, to go to lunch with, to ride bikes with!!!

Her family and friends love her! They look up to her and also love to be with her! She is the life of a party or get together. She has in infectious laugh!

She is such a good mommy! She loves her boys and they know it! They love her and are so smart because of her!!!

She is a good wifey too! Scott adores her and she loves him too!

She is a strong member of the church and shows in her words and deeds and all who know her, know that about her too! She has a testimony and shares it with all!

Cas, I love, love, love you!!! I'm so glad the Lord blessed me with you!!!

A New Leaf

At this time of year I am so grateful for my family, love,love, love my family!! They are everything to me. Oh my, and those 2 grandsons!!! Adorable in every way!!!! Yummy! Squishy!
