Weston & the VIKINGS @ Disneyworld

The boys left Christmas Day and were gone for 10 days.

Weston is on the JV team and sits with the Varsity Team. He didn't get to play on this trip but he had a great time anyway. He's looking forward to his Senior year and playing Varsity!!

He's all grown up..

well,

as grown up as a 17 yr. old can be!!!

We love going to watch him play sports, especially basketball!

He's done just about everything you can think of, for now it's just basketball!

then of course in the summer months, we like to watch him

TRY to jump the wakes and do his 360's!!! YEP! Time has flown by. I remember when we found out we were having our first boy! We were ALL so excited!!! I remember we would all just sit around and watch him being a BOY!!! vroom, vroom...who taught him that? how does a little boy automatically know how to make those sounds! Weston, I love ya bud!! You have always been such a "chill" kid. You've always been so "chill" about everything. You are a "chillax" kid...( Cassie's imput) I don't ever really worry about him and if I do, it's usually uneccesary! I am worried about sending him away in only 2 years. Not worried that he won't go or where, or anything like that, just worried that I will cry like a baby! How can I let my little boy leave me for 2 years!!! He is such a strong young man. He has moral and values and he lives up to them. He and I have had our little one-on-one talks, about girls, phones, bad stuff in movies and on the internet. He always assures me that he is good and I don't need to worry. I love ya bud!!! You are an amazing young man and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father sent you to me!!! HaPpY BiRtHdAy!!! xoxo, mom

No great pics of Weston playing ball.... I'm not a great photographer. The season is over and he sure is fun to watch!!! His position is forward/guard, playing mostly under and outside the basket. He has a sweet lay-up that he is working on all the time and will only improve. He sucks at free throws, which isn't good since he's always getting fowled. He reminds me so much of his dad. The way he plays, it's Jay reincarnated. He was able to sit with the jv and varsity teams for the last 5 or 6 games. He has been improving his game alot. Next year will be fun to watch him with the jv and varsity teams. He's got a future with the Pleasant Grove Vikings!! Watch out NBA!!!!! GOOD JOB BUDDY!!!!!!
